Ashley Nurkin founded Elizabeth Nash in the fall of 2021. Prior to following her entrepreneurial dream of starting her own business, Ashley had successful careers in both real estate and the non-profit sector.  Ashley relocated to Hadddonfield, NJ in 2019 with her husband, daughters and their two dogs.

As a descendent of North Carolina’s 2nd Governor Abner Nash, Ashley’s southern roots run deep. Those roots mandated learning proper etiquette and the rules of southern hospitality – Keep your elbows off the dinner table, put your napkin in your lap, never show up to a dinner party empty handed, ALWAYS write a thank-you note, and make sure the gifts you give are thoughtful and meaningful.

Following their move north, Ashley knew the timing was finally right to follow her entrepreneurial dream and launch her own business. In a nod to her southern roots and her love of meaningful gift giving, Elizabeth Nash was born.

Ashley wanted to share what she learned growing up, especially the art of meaningful gift giving. She was raised to believe that “gift giving is more than a transaction, it is a personal expression of appreciation, caring and value”, and that gifts should be thoughtful, personal and curated to the individual.

Ashley is the mother of two girls, Harris and Taylor, and dog mom to two wonderful yet quirky rescues, Charlotte and Gracie. Ashley is married to husband Matt.
